Yesterday evening, ça va de soi had the pleasure of being Ogilvy’s guest of honour for the launch of Canadian wool week.
The event took place at the beautiful Tudor Hall on the fifth floor of the landmark Ogilvy in Montreal, at the same time celebrating the 25th anniversary of ça va de soi.
The evening highlighted the high-end craftsmanship of the house and it's conditional love of natural fibres, such as our favourite wool, Super 160 merino. After years of research and working with the best yarn spinners,
supplied by the most sustainable sheep breeders in Australia, this wool is considered by many as the greatest gift from nature to the clothing industry.
Easily maintained, soft, and thermal in nature, it occupies a prime presence in çvds stores year-round.
Guests had the rare opportunity to touch & feel models from the upcoming 2016-2017 fall/winter collection, including the innovative merino and silk blend as well as our 18-20 gauge merino wool. The perfect blend of finesse, strength and density.
Small workshops on the universe of wool were offered, and the warm, enthusiastic atmosphere was maintained by the team, Audrey, Jake, Stéphanie, Joyce, Cathy, Sarah, Marie-Lou, Nathalie, Marc-Olivier, Krystel and Gonzalez.
Thank you to Ogilvy for recognizing the passion of artists and thinkers behind ça va de soi.
